Traditional Brick: Brick is a tried and trusted method so we know it lasts a long time and the house will still be standing in 50 years. Brick does not have as good insulation qualitys but with building method we build houses today the insulation qualitys would be the same if not better. Bricks can be built under a load berring wall because they are true and strong. Without more houses being built with traditional brick it will eventually make the trade die out. Traditional bricks only come in one size this means you have to spend more time cutting them to size waisting time. | Hebel wall systems: Hebel is the newer method this means we dont know how long Hebel will actually last untill they start to fall apart. Hebel has great insulation qualities and keeps your house warm in winter and cool in summer. Hebel canot be placed under a load berring wall because the Hebel panels are not strong enough to take the load. Hebel is quicker to construct then traditional brick making it a quicker option to build houses. You can buy Hebel is all differant sizes making it easy to fit to the house your building. |
